Different options are shown here for solving problems in electronics manufacturing by using coatings, materials and/or lubricants. These problems can be due to corrosion (also in aggressive media), the passage of electrical current, friction, wear (also due to lubricant starvation caused by contamination) and/or the suitability for clean rooms.

The solution can be drawn from just one of the three areas coatings, materials and lubricants, but may also be taken from a combination of areas.
